Hey folks! It’s been a minute since I last gave attention to this blog because things have been CRAZY busy. The chaos in my life is completely self induced and I am in love with the direction it’s headed so don’t for a moment pity me! My question to you all is
Did you spring forward?
No, not just with the time change… I mean in life. Are you headed in a forward direction or are you holding yourself back with yesterday’s problems? Are you working toward a better work/life balance? Did you start acting on some of those New Year’s resolutions you set a couple months ago? Did you keep that promise to floss every single day and rid yourself of those thousands of germs that are trying to destroy your beautiful smile?
Some may see me as “just a dental hygienist”… but I’ve never really believed that. I also refuse to believe that the McDonalds cashier is “just a fast food employee”. No one reading this is “just” an anything… we are all incredibly complicated, beautiful and capable of making the world better for those around us. In my 20 years at a health care professional, I’ve been blessed with a captive audience and the ability to help people change. I’ve also spent an entire year already making a concerted effort to plant some seeds outside of clinical dental hygiene as myself instead of ghost writing and working behind the scenes.
AND I’m happy to announce that in April I’m going to be sitting down with Dr. Jaime Kaluga who has dedicated herself to empowering others to build up their happier and more productive lives. She is a personal life coach, mental health counselor and best-selling author.
